On March 7, 2003, Ms. Hind Kourouche visited KARAMAH. Ms. Kourouche was visiting the U.S. from Australia through the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Program. She is the Director of Regional Media for Islamic Resource Management, the Media Spokesperson for the Supreme Islamic Council of New South Wales, and CEO of an accounting firm.

Ms. Kourouche discussed the Muslim community in Australia and contrasted it with the American Muslim community. She also talked about 9/11 and the reaction it caused in Australia. KARAMAH staff and volunteers were delighted at the opportunity of exchanging views with Ms. Kourouche.
