Hdeel Abdelhady Esq., is Principal at MassPoint Legal and Strategy Advisory PLLC in Washington, D.C., a boutique firm focused on conventional and Islamic finance, international investment law, corporate governance and anti-corruption, and strategic alliance-building. She is a vice-chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Middle East Committee and Immediate Past Co-Chair of the ABA’s Islamic Finance Committee. Ms. Abdelhady has practiced law with major international firms in Washington, D.C. and Dubai, and has advised leading banks, energy companies, and others on cross-border finance, corporate, anti-corruption, and investment treaty matters. She has spoken and published in the areas of Islamic Finance and corporate governance, and currently lectures in law at The George Washington University Law School, from which she received her Juris Doctor. Ms. Abdelhady is fluent in English and highly proficient in Arabic.
