Reema Subhi Shocair Ali, Esq.

is the Executive Director of Karamah. Prior to joining Karamah, Ms. Ali served as a judicial law clerk in the Family Court of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.  Ms. Ali holds a Juris Doctorate (JD) with certificates in Law and Public Policy and Comparative and International Law from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Emory University.  Ms. Ali was the recipient of the 2004-2005 Dulin Haynes Fellowship for outstanding academic performance and demonstrated commitment to public service, particularly in the field of international humanitarian law.  She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
